Dates for 2011 Conference Announced

This premier Conference on the molecular biology and genomics of Gram-positive bacteria returns to Italy, Tuscany. The meeting will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Montecatini Terme, a lovely town close to Florence. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Tuscan region with its art, history and gastronomic delights.

The meeting will focus on mechanisms of physiology, metabolism, pathogenicity and development of Gram-positive microorganisms. Recognized experts from industry and academia will present studies of the following related microorganisms: Bacillus, Clostridium, Enterococcus, Lactococcus and Lactobacillus spp, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Listeria, and others. Symposia addressing major regulatory pathways and their control mechanisms unique to these organisms will permit an understanding of how this group of pathogenic and industrially important microbes grows and survives in its ecological niche.
